TBS CNW @ Rovereto 2018

Innovations in TBS protocols against TBS in neurorehabilitation

We envision the workshop as an opportunity to pursue focused and critical discussions of current empirical and theoretical issues concerning transcranial brain stimulation (TBS) in cognitive neuroscience in general and of the interfacing of TBS innovation and use in basic research and neurorehabilitation.

Half a day of the workshop will be set aside for an open discussion and decision section on a current multi-centre tACS initiative. The initiative hopes to bring together TBS researchers from multiple sites with different expertise. The plan is to identify a commonly agreed, basic tACS protocol at the workshop based on proposal from individual or grouped labs (call for proposals is out), before testing its effectivity across sites.

The workshop differs from larger conferences in so far as there are a small number of speakers (all invited) and there are no concurrent talks. In addition to the individual talks, there will be a poster session for students, post-docs and researchers to present their work.

The workshop, organized by the Center for Mind/Brain Sciences will start on Thursday December 6 at 9 am, and end on Friday December 7 at 5 pm.

Social dinner of the event will be on December 6 at around 8 pm.

Submissions for poster presentations due October 31, 2018.

Submissions for poster presentations due October 31, 2018.

Five 200 Euro awards will be granted on a competitive basis at the workshop, on the basis of the submitted abstracts. Only non-faculty first authored posters are eligible for the awards. The organizing committee will jointly decide the winning posters and will send emails with decisions to the winners.
In order to present the poster at the workshop, every poster session participant will be provided with a freestanding bulletin board, approximately 125 cm high and 95 cm wide, on which to display the poster. Please make sure that your poster does not exceed these dimensions.
